Vermont Maple Sugar Mold

This maple sugar mold is unusual in that is has a design in the center of each heart.  Also note the carve marks on the edge of each heart.  This piece is from Vermont and dates from circa 1870.  The mold measures 20" long, 4 1/4" wide and is 1 1/2" thick.  The hearts are 3 7/8" wide.
