Pendants for lightning rods

Pendants were offered by lighting rod companies as additional decorations beyond the balls. While many farmers were willing to add $1 for decorative balls much fewer spent another $5 for pendants. That fact plus the delicate construction of the hangers makes pendants many times more rare than lightning rod balls.
